There comes a time in life when change is warranted.
Sometimes it comes suddenly- sometimes it slowly
creeps upon you like a kind poison: strangling you
with its sickly sweet weakness. Change: whatever
the reason: is auger for great and powerful things. Do not
put change aside or treat it lightly. Do not laugh at it.
Do not put it down: it's meaning is great.

I have been many things in my life: model, actress,
etc etc. I have loved everything I have done and done
it well- I have blazed trails and burned bridges at the
same time. I regret NOTHING. However, my focus now
on this path of my journey is my writing. I am a Published
author and poetess, and writer of extreme emotion.
It is now that journey I undertake. "And I will fight this life with words".

Let the battle...BEGIN.

"Mistress of many trades" Sundari P is a travelling gypsy
of the east coast: but originally hails from Richmond, Va.
She was recently named "Queen of RVA" (Richmond, Va)
by Style Weekly Magazine.

Sundari P (LadySlaughterhouse) is also a sculptor of
various mediums: whose work has been showcased in
several galleries. She is an occasional painter and 'sketchy'
photographer as well. She still will model for the right project.

Her book "Absinthe" won #1 Fiction book in the UK on
the topic of Absinthe.

From the author: "My writing to me is my soul- and I am loathe to put my soul out there sometimes. Externally its all good- the flesh does not bother me. But very few people see what is within. Since my writing is such an abstract integral part of me I treat it a little differently than most artists. I guess its not like wearing my heart on my sleeve- but rather keeping it locked up in a little heart shaped box where I've hid the key and buried the box under the rosebush in the backyard. When I'm ready- it will come out and I will share it- but not before. Sometimes art can be rather sluttish- artists put it out there and are like "look at me, look at me!- look at what I can do- over here! over here!". I think this cheapens some art a bit. Only when something is rare can it be treasured. I'm rather like that rare, mystery work that one finds out about posthumously and then suddenly it becomes worth millions- that is my art(writing) to me. I think people also misinterpret me sometimes to the point where to even put out my writing would also be stupid. I mean, people would be like "wtf". So I just don't.

A brilliant mind- starts off like a prism- refracting the light, life,pain and experience through fractals and semblances of meaning. Then it shatters into a million pieces- sharing its gift to the world. "Glamour" I once said "is like glitter. It is beautiful from far away but when you look at it close up it separates into a billion pieces". My art is not glamour. My art is my essence. Its life breath lie in that one, simple piece. When put all together- it causes a cataclysm. Yet the more unattainable something seems- the more value we give it, tragically. Such is my life. Such is my art. Such is my soul.

I am not art for arts sake. I am not 'look at me, look at me'. I am rather- 'when the student is ready- the teacher will appear'. "

She is working on her 17th book.
